How to choose car seat covers
A set of car seat covers does two jobs: it protects the seats underneath, and it changes how the inside of the car looks. Here is what actually decides the purchase — fit, fabric, airbags, washing — and how the sets we sell are made.
Universal fit or custom cut?
Custom covers are sewn for one make, model and year. They fit perfectly and cost two to three times more. Universal car seat covers, which is what we sell, stretch over the seat: a set of two covers the front seats — backrest, headrest and seat base — and fits most cars, SUVs and vans. The trade is simple: a universal set takes ten minutes to install and never needs measuring, but it will not hug the contours of a specific seat the way a custom set does.
If your seats are standard bucket or bench seats, universal is the sensible choice. If you drive something with unusual seats — deep bolsters, integrated headrests, a bench with a folding armrest — write to us with the make, model and year before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether a universal set is a good idea.
Airbags: the one thing not to get wrong
If your seats have integrated side airbags, seatbelts or armrests, this kind of universal cover is not the right product: that limitation comes from the maker and we apply it as it is written. On a car with side airbags, do not fit any cover that sits across the airbag seam. Ask us with the make, model and year before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether a universal cover is safe on your seats.
Fabric, printing and washing
Our seat covers are cut from stretchy polyester-spandex, held in place by elasticated straps and hooks under the seat. The print is dyed into the fabric rather than laid on top of it, which matters after a year of use: it does not crack where you sit and it does not peel in a hot car.
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and hang to dry. Do not bleach, do not tumble dry. A set takes about a minute to pull off the seat, so washing them is a normal weekend job, not a project.
What a set actually contains
A seat cover set is two covers, one per front seat. Floor mats are sold separately as a set of four — two for the front footwells and two for the rear, with a rubber backing. A windshield sun shade is a single foldable piece that lives in a sleeve in the door pocket. All three exist in the same print, so the cabin can be matched or you can take the piece you actually need.
Production and delivery, plainly
Nothing is picked off a shelf: your set is printed after you order it. That means 6 to 9 days of production before your tracking number is issued, then 2 to 4 weeks in transit in the United States. Shipping is a flat $6 per order and free over $100. You have 30 days from delivery to send an item back.

Common questions
Universal or custom seat covers — which do I need?
Universal covers stretch over the seat and fit most cars, SUVs and vans without any measuring. Custom covers are cut for one model. Everything on this site is universal fit: if your seats are standard bucket or bench seats, a universal set goes on in a few minutes.
Will universal covers work with side airbags?
No. The maker states these covers are not for use on seats with integrated airbags, seatbelts or armrests, so we do not recommend them on a car with side airbags. Send us the make, model and year and we will tell you honestly whether to buy.
Are they washable?
Yes. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, then hang to dry. The print is dyed into the polyester-spandex fabric, so washing does not lift the pattern and it does not crack where you sit.
How long until I get them?
Every set is printed after you order it: 6 to 9 days of production before the tracking number is issued, then 2 to 4 weeks in transit in the United States.
What if they do not fit?
You have 30 days from delivery to send them back. Return shipping is at your expense; the item price is refunded once the parcel reaches us.
